Piston troubles!

I am building an 05 CR engine. I was gonna swap to the 03-04 piston/nozzle set up.

I bought a set of pistons and I found quite a few nicks on the top of the pistons.

Here are some pics

Each piston has the nick on the side where they pulled the wrist pin out.

It looks like the previous owner had some foreign debris issues.

Can these be cleaned up?

Ooops!!!

Here you go..

Pic #1 - Nicks in the bowl at 4 and 5 o'clock

Pic #2 - Nicks on the outer edge at 1 o'clock nick in the bowl at 7 o'clock

Pic #3 - Large nick at 6 o'clock

Pic #4 - scare marks from pulling the wrist pin.

Let me know if these can be cleaned up.. I can get better pics if anyone needs them.

Should I have them cleaned up by my machinist? I plan on ceramic coating the tops and Teflon coating the side skirts

Sure, why not... still have to blast for coating.
