Pop Off Pressure Question

What is the exact reason for running a higher pop? what is the stock pop on 12 valve injectors and what are most performance injectors at? or does that vary upon application?

Stock is 260BAR, increasing the opening pressure adds a bit of atomization and increases the penetration of the fuel jet. Most performance stuff for the 12v's will range from 280-310BAR.

I ve also heard of injectors having the edge filter removed. can someone explain that to me, such as where it is in the injector? and what exactly its for?

To keep fuel in the injector body to prevent air entrapment. You can take a look here for some pictures.

when i bought my 5x12s they came with a 260 bar. suposed to be performance injectors....
