Problems with another alternator

About 9 months ago I had to replace the alternator. I ended putting a remaned on since work was slow. Now I tested it bc of the volts were down. It says it's undercharged/going out. My question is could it be the regulator in the pcm? Has anybody had remaned and not last?

Parts ain't as good as they used to was! Yes reman, and even new go bad sometimes. I assume you got a warranty? Take it back.

I have a warranty too it back and the guy goes its just the way a diesel is. He said I have to wait a min. or two and then the volts willl come up to 14. Then I told him that is is at 10 or so and he goes well I dont have time right now. Said few choice words and left.
