So in conjunction with my other thread where I had parking brake issues I have also come to find out I have an oil leak problem too.

I didn't try to pull my axle to look inside but I'm assuming there will be a special nut in there that's set to a specific preload correct? Where can I get the socket and what is the torque spec? Also how difficult is it to remove the old seal and will I need a driver to install the new one?

Usually there is a spanner nut in there. Rent the socket from an auto parts store.

You will need this socket to tighten the spindle nut. It probably will loosen without it after removing the keyway but pretty much can't tighten it without the socket. A hammer and punch will probably work but not recommended.
