I might sound stupid but I normally don't do much with fords but I did the Dpf delete on a ford the other day I used a 4in exhaust with bungs (because I was told that would eliminate the hi idle problems) well it didn't the truck idles right around 1000rpm anyone know what I did wrong or how to fix this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Kind of late now but sct tuners do not turn off intake throttle or egt sensors both have to be plugged in and working or it will default high idle. The tuner only changes the threshold for the sensor. I have simply zip tied the egt sensors to the harness and worked fine but the sensor has to still work. Same with the egr throttle needs to be plugged in. Plug a scan tool in see what egt temps are all 3 should be similar IIRC it is primarily looking @ EGT#3
