Sensor??

Somewhere along the line of transporting my head off my 99 to thee machine shop i managed to break a sensor off the left rear of the head. I am not 100% sure what sensor this is all i know is it is a very big sensor. Is this the temp sensor or??? And does anyone have a part #. Again it is the last sensor on the left rear section of the head any help would be great. Thanks

That would probly be the map sensor, or boost sensor.
I don't have a part number. Sorry.

you need a iat sensor

Are those things that big around? I would say were talk well over a 1" socket or so?

iat sensor... they have them at autozone

yes, the big one is the map. 68.00 or so.

take it out and bring it with

If its the last sensor to the rear, I'd sat its the Map sensor.

I got them confused head was at the machine shop it was not the last sensor but the one in front of it turned out to be MAP. Or as cummins refered to it as a intake pressure sensor.
