smarty crap

So we can't get the computer to recognize the smarty. Then we tried a new printer cable, still ain't working. Anybody got any ideas?

you need to put more info in on what it is doing, and if it worked before, you know some history

when youre on the Smarty website, if i understand you correctly, you may need to load this onto your computer.. do you have the smarty icon on your computer?
