I have a new van Aaken Smartbox for a VW 1.9 Tdi 1998- not sure of anything else about it I bought it for my wifes car it wont work it is a 2006 Just need to get it sold she wants one that fits. $150 obo

03 is a changeover year to a different engine, you could have the ALH as used from 98-03 or the PD engine. If you have a VP 44 style pump you have the ALH engine. I am not 100% certain if it will work on my 02, the basic engine is the same as the 98 it fits, not certain on the computer(s).
