Some of you have seen the white reg cab Dmax we pulled with last year, couldn't beleive th Hp we got out of the stock motor. At local pulls we could usually finish 1 or 2 and still tow the others off the track if they had problems.
We pretty much pulled all year on a stock motor with 3.0 turbo, big injectors, and twin pumps. Finally took it down and found the only thing wrong really was the rods were about to give up and the cam pin was cracked. We're building motor to put in it now, but we''ll never have as much fun as we did with that stock LLY.
