I lurk on here most every day, but am much more active over at DD. There is a long thread over there by the same title.
Bought this truck back in October, I will spare you the long story but needless to say it was a bit misrepresented by the seller. Trans was junk from the get, which was surprising and unfortunate, and I found many rigged together pieces of "fabrication" that were not evident during my initial inspections of the truck. Long story short I got the truck up to Evan @ Limitless Diesel, who pulled the trans apart and did a full billet competition build on it, and am slowly picking away at the rigged up stuff.
My only goal was to run a 10.99 or better. Last month I was finally able to get it to the track, and am pretty pleased with the results.
Truck is a 2005 GMC EC/SB LLY
Built motor with Crowers, Fingers Oval bowl pistons, ported heads
Triple turbo - S472/87/.90 with two T4 S366's
Dual Fuel with 100% injectors
I drive the truck pretty much everyday when i am home, well I did until i lost the top S366 at the track a couple weeks ago due to an oiling issue. Fortunately the truck didnt blow up and I didnt oil down the track.
These runs are from Tune 2, 1650us @ 15° timing, and Tune 3, 1900us @ 18° timing. Rolling on 20's with Nitto 420's. Should be interesting to see what it will do on a little bigger tune and some drag radials / light wheels.
