ok for a single bar setup, 1 1/2 .250 wall dom tubing mild steel or 1 1/2 .120 wall chrommolly? these will be welded in and i was wondering if the more ridgid metal would be better or do u want a lil bit of flex out of these?
 
mine are 1 3/4" x 1/4" DOM---I don't think I'd use less and many are going to say bigger on the DOM on the CM I can't remember if that size is adequate or not----chris
 
ok, well the price for 1 3/4 dom is rather expensive but heck may as well splurge and ill check out the price for cm at that diamiter, these things may be over 300 in jsut materials, also a sugeested lenght?
 
I used 2" OD with .250 wall DOM for 2 years now. No bending, and they are 80+ inches long.
 
i just got 2" dom 1/4 thick only cost me 120 bucks for a full 21 foot piece that was the cheapest i could find it all other places want 140 and up for it and if garret cant bend 2" i am pretty sure i wont lol
