Anyone got any pics of their transmission tables? Preferably homemade but I'm open to suggestions. Mainly looking for one I can clamp the case to and spin it for ease of access.

You can buy one, or I just bought a cheap engine stand, made a bracket to bolt to the front of the Transmission.

I'm currently working on the same thing. I took a stainless table I got at an auction, put a lip around to contain fluid. I'm going to cut a hole big enough for the output shaft to fit down in, when working on OD section. Also, going to build a bracket for holding the case.

I've thought about just buying one. And I still may but I want to see if I can't get some ideas from some of the more creative minds on here first.

Sounds almost like what I had in mind. My only gripe about the store bought trans tables is the way they hold the case. I think I'd prefer having it where the pan/vb will face straight down.

Here's my 'amateur' table built specifically for trans work:

I saw this one on tnt diesel's fb page. Looks nice, but not sure well it drains fluid.

We took a pallet rack and cut it down. Had a piece of stainless bent with a trough in the back, in the trough there is a bung that has a barb fitting and hose into a bucket. I'll try and snap a pic tomorrow.

Best one isaw was an engine stand, with a large bracket that fit in it that pinned to 47, 48 cases, over a drain screen and pan.

Do a search for "Handy teardown table". Don't know if that is what you are looking for.

A little dirty now but this is ours.

We also use a home built engine stand that we made a plate to bolt to the trans.

That is exactly what I have. Makes working on it much easier.
I think I had less than an hour making mine. Couple pieces of angle iron, welding and a drill.

Here is my setup. Top is angle back at 1 degree. Drains in each back corner in 5 gallon pails.
