Need some advice...
1. I live and drive 5k-7k ft. out in northern NM.
2. I've got the BD Super B over a 1.10A/R T-4 EH s474. It's turning out that I need to be doing more HWY and IN TOWN daily driving. I'm running a Wicked Dragon Slayer CP3, 90 HP stix and Smarty TNT which likes setting 7 the best.
3. My RP's and EGT's are on the high side cruising 75 mph with ave. RP = 17.5-20k, and EGT's are 1-200 higher than when I was running the BD TT's with stock CP3 and 50 HP DDP's.
4. I do think my drive pressures are a little on the high side as WOT my EGT's do climb quick to over 1300 at times...
So.... I'm thinking about downsizing with the goal of maximizing spoolup, low EGT's and RP's, and higher MPG's again. Don't want to go exactly back to BD TT setup and stock CP3 unless that's part of the problem.
What if I went down to BD's R700 primary? How would the 71mm wheel and 1.25 A/R affect spoolup, EGT's, RP and DP compared to the 1.10 A/R s474 I currently run?
I think going down to 40-50 HP sticks would help EGT's alot as well. Will these still work with the R700's?
Will my stage III CP3 still work with 40-50HP sticks and R700's or will I need to go back to a stock CP3?
ALOT of questions and considerations, but I need you guys' help.
