valve adjustment??

can anyone tell me the process for running your valves on a pump 24 valve my gear has no marks on it for tdc

you do not need a mark. Just turn your engine over in the direction of engine rotation, and watch your valves on #1 or #6 . When you see your exhaust valves close and your intake start to open you are on Overlap on that cylinder #1 , #6 Then if you are on overlap on #1 then #6 is on TDC and if overlap on #6 then #1 is on TDC you can make a mark on your crank as an indicator of TDC if it helps
