Which P-Pump?

I've been giving some thought to updgrading from my 160hp pump to a 180hp or 215hp pump. The 885 & 911 180hp pumps seem to be the same, and a good choice. But from what I've read the 887 and 913 215hp pumps are different. The 913 is an emissions pump, and retards timing 4 degrees or so, depending on rack travel. But, the 887 pump is a non emissions pump, that does not retard timing, and is the best choice. Can anybody confirm that?
 
887 and 913 are one in the same, both have retard plungers.
 
How can you tell what type of pump you have??? I have a 215 pump but would like to know more about it as well. Would it be on the I.D. plate on the crankcase???
