Who has broken a Helix 2?

Yep seems they dont take a big ppump as well as they do a vp.

How about a common rail? From what I've read in this thread most breakage has been from a P-Pump. Should I worry about anything putting it in my '06?

I personally think it has more to do with the P-Pump load and not the brand. I had one break (non helix) last fall that made no sense why it broke but it did.

I have one just ran tonight pulling and having a problem #6 exhaust valve not moving.... any input?? Sounds bad

What did you do pull the valve cover? You take the push rod out?

Tore down valvetrain. Springs seem good along w pushrods and everything... but thrust collar holding cam in was loose allowing cam to walk about .25in in and out. Pulling cam in few minutes. What do we have? Broken cam or wiped lobe? If broke any input on getting piece out. Thanks

Results are... Cam 1 = Tappets 0

Now why ???? .Valves are free, my guess is cam walked off enough to side lode the tappet causing the failure... but the thrust bearing is in good shape. Hell I duno

Tappets are #6 Intake and Exhaust
