  • Also i'd send you a pic but, my truck is 4 hours away right now sitting at Industrial Injection in salt lake and i'm in wyoming. I can try to describe it though. I used the factory cross member and rubber trans isolater, i did not modify these. I used a piece of 3/8 inch thick plate aprox 8 inches long and 4-5 inches wide( i cannot remember exact size). I drilled two holes in each side of the plate one set for the rubber isolater, and one set to bolt to the tranny. This adapter plate sat on top of the isolater top plate. to get the motor to sit correctly and the fan to be centered in the shroud, i put two washers on the top of the adapter plate between the plate and tranny. I can draw a pic on my computer and email it to you, just send me your email address
I bought a clutch at the same time that i swapped trannys, i was in dire need. I would talk with gary at valair, i'm not sure if you would need to pull the crank spacer or not but i'm fairly sure that you could use the current dual disk setup, gary knows the specs for clearances and is more than willing to help. I don't want to tell you something that's not correct. The number for valair is 1-888-682-5247.
