Looking for some advice on a 2wd puller.

IF it were me id put all that stuff in the Forsale section and buy more pulling parts. I know you talked about taking this one off the street... I have a solid front axle under mine.. with the suspention gutted... who needs it when its off the ground ha ha...

My front end is really worn, as in my wheel wobbles pulling it on a trailer. and it is always wobbling when I drive it. I managed to get most of this stuff pretty cheap, so I guess I might could sell it for a profit and buy some cheap stuff to put in the front.

i've tryed to pull my 2wd a few times and broke a few output shafts (automatic) then got that problem fixed and smoked a engine

i run a old set of Cepek Giant Pullers, there is no rules here for me since i am the only one and run in the unlimited class

all i want is a video of the front tires a foot or so off the ground, best so far is getting them to bounce over a bump and get like an inch

man you guys are alot nicer about this ,then when i brought up the idea ~5 years ago!! :hehe:

i manged to blow up a 1410 u-joint with auto with a pair of 35x12.50r17 STS in WS class

i hooked besst with weight just infront of the rear axle center line
hitch.. stong and gusseted i bent 2" solid stock

this was me back in 09 i was usually mid pack with a ws truck in the 2.6 class here in PA/OH area

That is EXACTLY why i started pulling, after seeing the pic of you hanging the front tires.

I know i got enough power and the tires to do it now, i just need to figure out locking the converter, how fast to spin the tires, and air pressure

Hey Lynn, do you know what the Rear in your truck is called? I know y'all said it's from a 60-70's chevy 2.5 ton.

Thanks
Shaun

hey lynn, can you tell me a couple things about your rear? I went to a semi junk yard today, he said he would look to see if he had any SQHD's but as for the rear under your truck he wants to know how many bolts hold the axle in, and also could you take pictures of it? picture of the back and the side. Thanks. bad thing is he said a rear would be around $600, I'm thinking about buying a 2.5 ton truck and parting it out.

The rearend under lynn's truck doesn't really have bolts holding the axles in. It has full floating axles with both ends splined. The hub end is about 3" or so around and the inside of the hub is splined. It has a 5 bolt chrome plated cap that holds the axles in.

Here are the only pics we have of it:
