2.6 Puller Project

So I got mostly all my air/water stuff in except for lines and fittings.
Got the 29spline input in the 271 and put it back together.
Put it under the truck. It appears I have to modify my cross member. Anyone else ran into this issue. Need to get the shafts made up and I've been searching for a 1410/1480 yoke for the back of the t case can't seem to find anything.
If anyone has done this and could point me in the right direction. Please let me know.
Thanks Chris.

MufflerBearing I've browsed through your thread awesome build. In regards to the yoke you're looking for where are you located at? I'm in the process of a Cummins conversion and using a guy to custom build my driveshaft I can give the information if you want it just PM me.

Got all the yoke's figured out. Called Greensburg machine and Mark hooked me up. Waiting on shafts and pipes for the intercooler.

Made some progress on the coolers this week. Still waiting on some parts yet.

how much ice is everyone burning in a pull? just curious on how big to build the ice chests. I plan on starting the weight box/ ice chests this weekend.
thanks, Chris

been busy trying to get this thing ready to drag down to rudys, looks like we are going to be very close to making it. I will up date pictures later on when i get some free time.

Ok, I've been searching for a few days now.
I got the truck all back together, made a hook down at rudys. Currently have a airdog 200. 62psi at idle with torqtek 70psi OFV. Came out of the hole good and then when I got into it, fuel psi dropped below down to around 16-18 psi.
Trying to get video loaded.
Is it time for a waterman? Or is there other ways to get pressure out of the airdog.
Thanks in advance guys.

I had the same fuel pressure problem, switched it over to a 220 fass and the problem was solved! Just switch to a different pump and save yourself slot of headaches.

Something is wrong in the setup or with the AD itself. What size lines are you running from tank to AD and AD to p7100?

I ran a fass 250 with a 500cc 12mm pump and it was 50psi at idle and about 47 psi at full tilt going down the track.

How quickly does the pressure recover, does it jump back to 62 instantly when you let off? I don't think you need a waterman just yet. My buddy has a full race 13mm pump from northeast and runs a pair of airdog 150's at less than 60psi feeding 2 ports on the pump and he hasn't had any fuel pressure issues.

1/2 line from the sump to the airdog, then 1/2" to a dual feed line on the p pump. 13mm dpe pump plated at 525/550.
Pretty sure it went right back to 60 when I lifted at the end of the track.

Do you have a return side pressure regulator valve installed .... I had the same problem even running a belt drive fuel pump .... installed one and was able to maintain fuel good fuel pressure all the way down the track.
