Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Running synthetic oil? If mines not plugged in anything under -5 Celcious I won’t touch it. Nor will I spray it with either. A good block and oil Heater in cold temps with no wind might need an hour or two to get warm. An espar will warm the coolant up fast crappy that it don’t do oil as well but running synthetic helps.

Conventional..

See what happens when I get fresh batteries on it

Oh nice it warmed up.

LOL. A pleasant -24c here, with wind chill making it -35c or so.

Time to get the snowshoes & 6.5 Creedmoor out again and go for a walk in the back fields & glass some illegal 4 legged desert immigrants.

Oh nice it warmed up.

Based on the 2 engines I have here, if the bolt holes will line up on the head, you should be good. Injector lines I believe stay high enough to clear the connections on the grids.

I have one here if you want to try it sometime, or at least measure. All our QSC's had them.

Quick romp in a C12 dump. Since it's legal to take pictures while driving, with no elogs.

Low idle slobber. We see it a lot where guys think its oil but its fuel and soot.

Mine doesn't slobber from the blowby but i get bluish white smoke and burnt oil smell when I take off the next morning. Even with winter front it was dropping down to 150* engine temp at -10. I run it at 900rpm.

That's about where I run mine at too. Watch the egts, try to stay above 300°.
