This has been beaten to death but for some reason I can't find the answers and opinions I am looking for.

Option 1: get a 98 harness and pcm

Option 2 : make a new cluster with gauges

Option 3 : some how make 24v harness work

On Option 3 only thing I am not sure of is crank sensor options.

What's the best route to go.. And any info I should know.

I put a 12v in a 99 for a friend and had to make NPT reducer bushings so all the factory 24v straight o ring sensors would thread into the 12v. For the crank sensor he bought a tone wheel for the balancer that came with longer bolts and spacers and I just made a bracket to hold the factory crank sensor for it. All the factory gauges work and everything functions as it should. Just cut the necessary wires from the APPS plug and wired them into a factory 12v TPS.
