2011 rules

RWYB- Duel's added across the board gas and diesel
7500 LBS gas and diesel weight

Pro Stock Diesel- Rules stay same

With addition of adding 3.0 class rules by nadm. Can run for money not points.

just to clarify....

NADM and EAST COAST 3.0 trucks will be permitted to pull with the 'Run What Ya Brung' class in 2011. The 'dual wheel' obstacle has been eliminated at least for the first half of the season when a review will take place.

3.0 trucks with open drive line will NOT be permitted to run in the Pro Stock Diesel class in 2011. the rule requiring OEM driveline in PS Diesel remains in place.

in the RWYB there is NO turbo size limit. weight class will be 7500lbs. for both GAS and DIESEL to start the season.

the use of the dual wheels is offered as an experiment for the first half of 2011. this rule change will be reviewed and it is certainly possible that the dual wheels could be removed from the rules at that time.

our goal was to allow the NADM 3.0 trucks a place to hook with USA-EAST in 2011. however if the owner wants to increase the charger size in order to pull with the RWYB that would be acceptable. :ft:

also the RWYB class approved taking their class to the Bloomsburg Fair for their 'Finals' at the end of the 2011 season on September 24.

This would place the 'Finals' for USA-EAST Pro Stock Diesel at Clearfield in 2011 on September 17.

So did you get rid of the small street twins too in the RWYB..OR are ya gona let that be a half season experment as well..as going 3.2.or bigger

so its set in stone?so both 3.0 and ss from nadm will be able to hook at the rwyb pulls for fpp correct?

Rick, When are the new 3.0 rules going to be posted.
Also are you allowed to put a cover over a bigger turbo and run 2.6.

here is where the confusion lies.

Prior to the meeting on Tuesday, FPP was looking for a way to introduce the NADM 3.0 class into our program. Prior to the meeting it was thought highly unlikely that the RWYB guys would allow dual wheels for diesels in 2011. Thus we felt that IF we could get the 3.0 trucks into Pro Stock Diesel that we would have acheived our goal of getting this group of trucks a place to pull with USA-EAST.

now the meeting and the RWYB guys (after serious arm-twisting) are going to allow duals in RWYB as a test in the first half of 2011. so now the 3.0 trucks have a spot to pull with USA-EAST. and as a bonus they can even up size the charger if they want.

since the 3.0 guys now have a spot to hook with FPP in the RWYB class, there is NO need for them to come into the Pro Stock Diesel. SO THAT IDEA HAS BEEN SCRAPPED ENTIRELY.

NADM 3.0 trucks are NOT permitted in PRO STOCK DIESEL with USA-EAST in 2011.

NADM 3.0 trucks are welcome to pull with the RWYB class in 2011 wth USA-EAST, but they may not collect points due to the experimental nature of the arrangment.

FULL PULL PRODUCTIONS has no interest in forming their own 3.0 class. we will follow whatever rules are adopted by NADM for 2011.

As long as they can meet the the rules for the RWYB Truck class they are allowed to hook in the class.

Rick, I know you stated there will be a few minor changes with pro stock diesel. Are back brakes still required? and are we required to wear SFI fire suits? Thanks.
