Be glad to help. Ill have my new build thread up shortly once i get all this OT out of the way the next month or so.
 
Update, I am walking with just a cane, I can walk without it, but I have a big limp. I still have to set down in a recliner most of the day. I go back to the dr. Tuesday. Hopefully I'll be able to get back to work soon, I'm bored out of my mind. I'll be going to the beach in 2 weeks, we'll see what I will be able to do. My wounds are basically healed. Now it's up to the bones.
 
And muscle strength building is what take time.Been there many times.Your young that helps.Don't try to push to hard just listen to your therapist.

Yeah, even though I've always had a gut, my legs looked like Arnold Schwarzeneggers, lol now they're flabby. I'm going to therapy twice a week.
 
got some progress pictures, I'm going to have to get creative on the intercooler. My 2nd gen IC won't fit, I kinda expected that though.

That is not me in the picture, it's one of my buddys. I moved the engine back around 8-10" to get the front end to fit right.
 
I figured I'd give y'all an update on my health as well, I'm doing well. I can walk with barely any limp, my therapist is trying to help me on that. my leg don't hurt any more, it's just tender around the break.
 
well, been in hay, so no progress. it's rained all this week, so no progress this week either. might get some work done next week.
 
Hate to burst your bubble.those type aren't very strong for what you are wanting it for they also rob alot of power.

Well guys I'm gearing up for surgery again. Figured out that I have a torn miniscus. Requires partial removal. This should be the last thing left to get my leg back in 100% working order. I'll be back out of work for 2 weeks, then 4 weeks of restrictions. Then I should be off restrictions.
 
My soninlaw had that done awhile back he has had it drained twice since the surgery about 8 weeks ago.

Ive been busy getting things in the new shop ready to be moved into. hopefully move equipment next week and get everything hooked up.
Then the 2wd will be the first one rolled in. :drive:
 
I'm setting here on the couch, had surgery yesterday around 2pm. My family is taking good care of me. The doc reversed his decision on therapy, so I go tomorrow. About all I have to look forward to for the next few days is the VOLS football game saturday.
 
Been setting around besides therapy and when I find someone to come take me somewhere. I'm walking without any assistance, still have knee swelling, and some pain. My knee is still acting like its trying to lockup. kinda annoyed about that. I also might have a slight infection, they put me on antibiotics, and we're watching my knee carefully. I go back to the Doc. Wednesday. At the rate it's going I don't think I'll be going back to work Thursday, as originally estimated. Who knows though, that's 4 days away.
