Do I need 'em? Head Studs on an '03

So I have a service engine light on now in my truck. I'm almost hoping it's the headgaskets so I can get them to install the ARP head studs while they're in there! But I doubt it cuz my truck, bone stock, is still fast as heck. So I'm not sure, well see. It has 114,000 miles, so....
 
Unless you have an extended warrantee, factory is a 100k mile limit, if you have 114k, you are outta warrantee.

I don't think you would get a CEL for a blown head gasket.
 
This morning I experienced my second blwn HG. Drove 50 miles shut the truck off and started it ten minuted later to find a steam cloud coming out the exhaust. Thank god I have an "IN" at my dealer. I will have to ask about installing studs
 
Good god after reading some of these prices just to get this stuff installed you could throw a 12v cummins in there and forget about it.
