scheid extravaganza 2010

I'm surprised they don't hold this at a better track. Or is the drag racing just secondary to the pulling?

ROTFLMAO!!!
There is more trucks in one class of pulling at SDX, than all the Diesel racers in the entire country.
So yes, racing is secondary at this event, behind pulling trucks, tractors, and the dynos.:hehe:

Lots of people voted for Obama too!!!

But hopefully they are or will eventually see the Error of their Ways!!!

LOL

J/K man!!

I vote drag racing though!!!

I would have thought the central part of this country would have had a few more intelligent people than that, but after spending most of a year there I found out first hand that isn't the case, so it makes sense.:hehe: Watching trucks scream down the dirt at 30 miles an hour, Oh Boy can hardly wait.:bang

I am a fan of both and enjoy pulling and drag racing, but when it comes down to it I know ricers won't show up at a pull.

to each thier own i say, i enjoyed watching the sled pulls and i enjoy racing. I don't care who else is there but IMO id rather deal with ricers than rednecks that can barely speak proper english let alone read hahaaha

Regardless both events help the Scheid event be one of the biggest in the states

Another Great point on the Rednecks!!!!

lol

I like watching the pulls too.... Just a raw display of power and Torque!

The track is better than years past. We were able to get down it without trouble...

I have to apologize to the 95% of the pullers who are smarter than Sleddy, at least those with more than 6 teeth even if they aren't their own. Classifying all sled pullers as toothless knuckle dragging Neanderthals is too harsh.

Dragging 35,000+ pounds, and the ENTIRE track is in front of you..vs... your truck at a buck 30(once?after you pushed it off a cliff?) 1/4 mile away.....

BTW, where do the race fans sit? I'll tell you, as close to the burn out box as possible, because they enjoy a good burnout more than watching trucks roll down the highway....:hehe:

Sled Pulling: its what Diesel trucks were meant to do.:kick::shake:

BTW, SWole, those toothless rednecks by a large majority did not vote for Obama, maybe they aren't so dumb after all?

Serious question sledpullerless, do you feel like you just got sucked into the seat by a big industrial size vacuum cleaner pulling 35000lbs down a dirt track?

lil brian in the marroon for went 6.65 .... qualified 4th ..word.

Awesome. How's his truck lookin?

That's because rednecks in Idaho outnumber the ricers 5-1. Seriously, Idaho makes Tennessee look civilized.

No, and neither do you on the pavement :stab:

Wow complete chaos. Ive never seen anything like it pulls were great but the kids were rasing some major hell

I finally got tired of hearing do a burnout with my 650 with my two trucks on the trailer. We actually drug a guy out from underneath a truck cuz he was passed out drunk so he would not get his head smooshed

Watching big fat high $$$ smoky trucks (broke half the time) get annihilated by low cost reliable gasser cars built by teenagers, Oh Boy I can hardly wait :bang

:hehe:

Sleddy admit it, if you lived anywhere but where you do, you'd be a drag racer, come on admit it.:lolly:

Now come on your one of the smart ones, don't lower yourself to sleddy's level. I rationalize you interest in sled pulling because you must have some metallurgical interest in watching things break.
