Let me help here. What he's saying is that maybe you should read this entire thread and figure out that bumping up your post count by posting things like..."just figuring this out" isn't going to help your cause around here any. I'm pretty sure that you are just like the other guys in this thread we have pointed out that assured us that they were here to learn and contribute and not just sell stuff.

Just like I told those guys if I'm wrong I apologize but I wasn't wrong about those guys either.

I didn't come here to sell anything, I bought some stuff from a fellow forum members here yesterday if it really matters. I've been on the Cummins forum for a while now and contribute over there quite often, and planned to do the same here.

Yea I posted that right after the ban because I was pretty pissed. I sent a couple of emails to the admin here at the same time explaining the whole situation and that's why my ban was lifted yesterday afternoon. I even sent a PM to the Mods over on the Cummins forum afterwards apologizing for starting the thread. They fully understood my position as well.
 
So you started a thread on another forum griping about what happened here after you technically broke the rules here?
Maybe we were right the first time.....

The griping was mainly due to how unprofessional the message was from the moderator. when you're in a position of power such as a moderator of forum it's your duty to be professional.

As a mod you should still show some common courtesy even if you're not payed for your services.
 
I'll say this, the only thing I'll apologize about is not sending you a warning before I banned you.

I cannot stand people that don't respect the site their on, all I see is people using this site to their benefit without any regard to what we do over here.

After seeing you cry like a woman on CF I don't feel sorry for banning you, but I do feel sorry for the other members now that Phil brought you back.

Prime example of what I'm saying a mod shouldn't do.
 
Again....you broke the rules, cried to Phil and got a 2nd chance.
Not sure it wouldda happened that way if we had known about the CF thread. We don't do whiners very well.
But hey...the rules didn't apply to you and you got what you wanted with the parts you bought. Thanks for showing everyone that our rules mean squat.

As for professional. Once YOU break the site rules then I don't have to be a god damned thing.

That's my thoughts on it anyway.

You broke the rules and cheated your way to your 10post count, and you did this so that you could buy gauges off our site, I banned you instantly to hopefully stop the transaction and teach you some site etiquette, and maybe save a member from getting screwed.

I still don't see what is so bad about wanting to get a deal on a something from here. I've been a member here since November, yesterday was not my first time here, I've just been more of a lurker here than a poster so far. I'm not here to screw anybody over, I have nothing for sale or plan to have anything for sale anytime soon, I'm still building my ride up. Even when I do have something to sell it will be on Ebay, local or on the Cummins Forum.
