Lost a piston. I've got a built motor waiting on the stand. Just gives me reason to put it in and turn it up now.

Good event and fun seeing everyone.

I'd like to thank Brad Ponci for letting me run an exibition pass against them. I didn't have much for him with a 9.62 at 145mph to his 8.60 pass but I felt like one of the cool guys crossing the finish line and throwing out the laundry copying Brad's lead.

The Ponci crew is a very nice and friendly bunch of people as is the Jefferson state crew.
 
Another great event at Redding! As is typical when it gets that hot, the track was pretty greasy, but they worked at it and made the best of it! I lost in the 3rd round when I had a decent light AND ran on my dial-in, as the other guy had an even better light and ran on HIS dial-in!
 
Rob it was a please to race you. Your a first class guy!! BTW... **** that d-max of your runs!!

Great to see everyone and had a great time hanging out with Jeremy and Jefferson State crew and the Tri Tip was to die for.

A big thanks to Jefferson State for all they do to make their event a kick butt time.

What happened to the yellow fever pulling truck? Or the Whip? I don't think either one of those rigs even pulled? That white lifted Chev Dmax that won the pulls and also raced was a bad ass truck!!!

They didn't have the class for Yellow Fever and they blew up the Whip the night before. They were there because the driver of the sled is the owner and they had a pull like 30 miles south the night before.

Smokin' Max is a beautiful truck. They usually pull their tow rig also.
 
yellow fever had the motor let go the night before on its second pull of the season, the wip was in front of it and didn't pull either.. those are both from the family of the sled owners..

Had a awesome time this weekend in Redding. Truck ran its best time ever 10.63 at 130MPH. I wanted to thank Pat at Big Twin Diesel Performance for your help with my tuning.:clap:
