What's everyone's favorite tune for the 4k box when sled pullin? And does anyone have a lope tune for it yet? I know it's only a tune not real power but it's a head turner at the gas station! Ha

You must not have been reading on here much before posting so I'll take it somewhat easy on you and explain what everyone else will soon tell you because your mind obviously won't comprehend it. You are a douche. Flip up your mirrors and lope your way off into the nearest lake, river, or other water source.

Yes there is a way to make a "lope tune" and your an idiot if you do it because it will wreck your pump.

As for sled pulling though, auto? Manual? On the previous page i listed what i usually run on my 5spd when i pull. Each truck is different and requires individual tuning. Quadzilla Tech supports is great, don't be afraid to give them a ring.

Has anybody else had the issue of the quad box taking about a second to stop fueling after you let out of the throttle. It can get pretty scary letting out at 4k and the truck keeps going for a second.

I shut mine down at well over 4,000 the other day, pushed in the clutch to shift to fourth and got wicked throttle hang. no more drag racing haha

I buy a 4k box awhile back and was going to try it as a dd and on the pulling track from time to time. I really ant liking what u guys r saying about throttle hanging though. I never liked the throttle hanging on a common rail either!

Has everyone with the 4k box had this problem?

mine only does it when you take the load off the engine really quick. all the fuel you cram in it has to go somewhere.

Quad adr w/att is what my buddy has on his 01 and he can make that ***** scream the only problem is it wont defuel your truck if something goes wrong

You have to set the defuel points.

The Throttle hanging is exactly what caused my clutch to grenade!! I went to shift at 3600ish and when I stabbed the clutch it revved well over 4k before I jammed it into another gear and dropped the clutch to save the motor!! Did it all the way thru 2nd and I jammed 3rd to save it before it finally lifted and ran normal!! Now I'm waist deep in a tranny rebuild and clutch replacement. Not a happy camper!!

I had a friend of mine have a similar issues with the power puck( or something like that) he had. His truck was dual cp'3 twins, the whole deal, and when you went to shift it the throdle took off and the motor hit 4k on it. It was weird I hated it, but he loved it because he never lost rpm when he shifted.

I am I proud owner of one of these gems. Pump stuck wide on a slick road in 3rd gear. By the time I pulled it out of gear I had already slid off the road and was on my way to DUI city. . . On a more relevant topic, 4500-47-4800 stretch is good for DD. 5600 on the track. Depends a little on what other goodies you have under the hood. 6000 seems like it makes a lot of heat. Timing at 6 for daily, 8.5 for competition, I found that if you set the timing to ten, and your heavy on the throttle, if you let out too quick the injection pump will lose (prime?), and die. With a manual you can just pop the clutch and roll start her, but it takes forever to start again if cranking. Boost scale set at 20 makes for quicker spool (at least it seems that way) but around 30 is ok for DD. I think 20 min and 80-85 on the other settings is how I'm set up. Rev at 3600, but it will run like hell up too whatever you set it at. On the high side of these settings you should be a little smoky in the bottom end, but once your charger lights it will clean up a little. . . I also run auto meter cobalt boost and pyro on the dash because I've found the pulse V2 to be a little off. All in all I like the box, it makes good power, but Definetly be wary of how you set it up.

Hope it helps man!
