your set up plus dyno numbers 12 valve only.

Thanks! The truck runs great. Its wild to run the throttle up to 60 to 65 lbs of boost and be pulling hard. The plant your foot and have it pull even harder. Problem is at that at 60 to 65 the temps are perfect, 1100*. Anything over that boost and the egt's climb right to 1600*. I've been thinking of going back to the stock dv's and pushing the plate full forward to see what the temps do. I've already replaced two cracked out heads. Trying to keep that from happening again. Plus with the stock dv's it should help the daily driving haze.

What kind of mileage are you seeing? I'd imagine it would be pretty good with twins and DDP 3's.

The truck seems to hover in the high 15mpg range. I'm sure if I kept my foot out of it and stayed at 75mph on the highway instead of a little above I could get into the 16s. From the day I bought the truck till today, my milage hasn't changed.

Ok, so I've been reading this thread and there are some nice numbers!
I guess I'm missing something. Two weeks ago on an Inertia dyno, I put down 430/1128.
Guy running dyno said he was having an issue getting it loaded, said if my brakes were better I'd probably see another 50hp. My plate is a 100 and it was full fwd. I felt I would put down better numbers. The truck is my signature.

Found my problem

After doing some reseach, i found that my timing is not 21* like signature says....so going to go back in and it get it bumped back up and hit it again...looking for 550...we'll see and post back again

I dont think you'll see 100hp change with just timing. The more load the better, so make sure they load it as much as possible. Running in OD seems to help my truck, but you have to have good tires for it to be turning that kind of wheel speed(my wheel speed was around 160mph in OD and past 4k rpm somewhere).

How much tuning have you done with the twins?

I gained 80 hp going from 22 deg to 29 deg on a heavily over fueled truck

94 12v 570 rwhp and 1077 ft/lbs torque 7/11/09 on dunbars

175pump
191 DV's
4k springs
Mack plug
Tuned afc
No fuel plate
22* Timing
Air Dog 150 @40 psi
5x.016 VCO's @ 280 Bar
181/210 105.5 LSA Hamilton Big Stick
Mild bowl work on the head (160/180 CFM)
S465/83/.9 T4 non ETT wheel
T4 manifold

Well, to answer a few questions...i am running 10.5° of timing...i haven't tuned the turbos. Now, i originally posted to join the thread but to also get some advice because i felt i would have better numbers. I called and spoke to Seth to see where i stood w my pump. DPE benchflowed my pump, hence the reason i called Seth. The pump was pin timed at 10.5°, and i was under the impression after speaking to an individual that i will not mention, said my total timing was 21°. Anyway, Seth said that i should bump the timing up and that i could see close to 150 possibly. As stated in my first post, 430 w a possible 50 more providing getting a good load on the dyno so i would be around 480 and then add some timing and im at 550. Thats where i came up with the 150hp....

I can't wait to put mine on the dyno! What would be a good guestimate for the truck in my Sig?

My numbers from last September

215 pump
Stock dvs, injectors, and turbo
No plate, fully modded afc, with a loose stock spring.
Tork tek ofv
16° timing
.10 over head gasket

And all the stupid little stuff intake, exhaust, ect.

Made 406hp. And i had it tuned as perfectly as i could get it. Turbo was running around 40psi also.

Going to a dyno beginning of August and hoping for more.
I've added
351vgt
7mm taper cuts(came from .025s)
20° timing (soon to be more)
And gunna crank the fuel pressure up some and maybe at 5k springs.

My trucks a freak though so who knows what will happen.

What was tq... thata a strong setup for what little is done

They didn't have them unfortunately...it was Dmitri Millards dyno from custom auto. I can't remember the equation to calculate my torque. But max hp was at 62mph in 4th gear. So about 2500-2600rpm

I also forgot to put that I'll be spraying water meth with nitro mixed I'm also on this next dyno

I replied earlier about the tuning but when you mention good tires, what are you speaking of? I do understand the loading part, though. I do have an issue w my primary because it is a 475/96-1.32a/r housing...probably be better w a 83-1.10a/r

No mud tires, dry rotted, etc. I have nitto 420s which made the dyno operator feel a little better about running it up that high.

What about the June issue of Diesel World where they changed the timing from 20 something to 30 and gained quite a bit of hp at just a little higher rpms

~820-825 ftlb

HP = (tq*rpm)/5252
