hi, just my results from my dyno run,

502bhp, turbo only
469.5, turbo and eaton
396.6 turbo and eaton low boost

this is standard 3litre 24 valve engine

but the curve on the eaton hx combo looks so much more driveable!
How big is that engine?

3.0 liter...

Is anything done to it? Aftermarket pre cups and such? Or all stock with a built injection pump? I love those om606 engines.

I wish it showed rpm so you can see right where the power is to compare the Eaton with just the turbo.

.

Torque at 50 mph vs 95... IWill take a 30hp loss for all that under the curve

All day everyday!!

The gap between more and enough never changes.

Unless it doesn't shift below that rpm at wot, lol. My Z doesn't go under 5k at wot. Of course, it depends on what you're doing with the vehicle also.

.

i fitted the engine which came from e300td with burst radiator, when i got her going i noticed some pressure in the rad but went racing anyway, lol
pressure gets worse as day goes on.

engine and pre chambers standard, Dieselmeken 8mm injector pump

my rev counter packed up just before dyno so no rpm on graph.

nearly undrivable without the eaton, eaton gives 0.3/0.4 bar of boost at idle.

revs to 6500rpm

I'm pretty sure with some good sizing a turbo compound arrangement could better that curve and no loss on top .

I don't think you could size the high-pressure turbo small enough....but a sequential setup could probably do it. I know the BMW 335d made peak boost starting at about 1,800rpm, and pulled all the way to 4,400rpm.

True that. A sequential setup would likely be the better ticket but bat$hit crazy to pull off.
