That's the thing about these classic trucks. One may have a bunch of money into one, but it's only worth what someone is willing to pay.

I probably have $15,000 into my KW, but probably wouldn't bring more than $10,000.

Unless its actually an NTC475 and they just don't know it.....

475 engines didn't have the new style cooler or low flow cooling. Even industrial engines that carried STC and the twins didn't have the new style cooler, the compound turbo engines have a specific aftercooler core.
 
Question... If someone's bored. Id be interested in learning the differences in low flow and high flow stuff. How to tell the difference, basics of converting etc.

Big thing is radiator hose size, the low flow engines have much smaller hoses, the 444 you looked at most likely has all this, the oil coolers are different but hard to explain. Aftercoolers are different as well, the low flow aftercooler has the air inlet tube that enters from the front, high flow systems have a crossover that goes over top of the top of the engine.

The engine that was in the truck that was posted as a 444 has all the low flow parts on it if you want to use that as a visible reference.

I didn't have the serve to post pictures of the older style that my truck has.
 
Which 379?

My 93 ext hood. I love my petes but a W9 is right there with them. Actually looked at one before we got the 06 379. If it wouldn't have been bright yellow we might have bought it lol.

Been on the lookout for a w900 as the small bunk and rough ride is starting to wear on me. Although there isn't a farmyard I can't wiggle out of an the mileage is great.

Haha no, boss man is just looking to diversify and I've got three years experience working under the company he'll be leasing to so I'm the obvious choice to train the other guy
 
This is my first truck that I bought. Decided if I was going to work that hard I was going to be the one trying to make all the money. We"ll see how that goes. Haha
