2016 3.0 turbo rule changes

badger has a meeting coming up don't they? any interest in that club of not following the ppl rules and doing their own thing

I wasn't a member this year, but did in past years... I would like to attend, but I have Drill for National Guard this weekend... So obviously, I won't be attending.

The rules are as good as changed, there really isn't a vote...if PPL wants it, they do it, they've already made up their minds
To a point but if enough pullers stand up for it or against some the rules 9 times out of 10 they will go with what the pullers would like

Foot casts? Meaning both feet? What'd you do, bail on a big jump and break them both? Been there done that is reason for asking.

Didn't bail, might have been better off if I did though. Back sided a 100'+ jump that I've hit probably 100 times over past years. early Moto loamy track should have been smarter lol collarbone, concussion, and several fractures in each ankle.

Sounds like what was discussed at Rudy's is the rules for PPL from the banquet. 3.0 smooth bore ODL in place of 2.6 and 3.6 smooth bore DOT tires in place of 3.0

Edit: I'm getting mixed info on the tires for the 3.6 class. Some say DOT some say cuts. So we will have to wait for definite info.

From what I understand 2016 will be 6 - DOT tires or 4 - Cut's and 2017 will be Cuts only.

Is there any reason the old 3.0 class could not go unlimited single instead of 3.6 smooth? Personally I think that would make a pretty cool class

It wouldn't be a fun class to run or watch. Lol it would be a certain dmax embarrassing people haha.

I don't agree so much...there would be a VERY competitive Duramax, but there are some eastern trucks and Runnin' in The Red would've held it's own before he went multiple chargers, there are some Haisley and Scheid built trucks that could do it and have plenty of knowledge under their belt.

It would be a fun class, but VERY expensive, I ran a 4.1 charger at our last hook of the year, ran the same 32cm housing my buddy runs on his 680ci Big Block Deere...I couldn't believe how easy it lit, just as easy as my 3.0 Hart's Turbo, drove out at 4200 and could've done less if my tuning was smoother/ stand alone would fix it with a longer throttle throw and smoother map... I've drove my 3.0 out at 3266rpm no problem...

It would be a driver's class for sure, lol!

I agree calving did have a great running truck. I just think most people would have a hard time trying to run a 5"+ turbo. So once agian. Person willing to spend 125k on a motor will be ahead
