Anyone ran a p-pumped 24v crazy Carl's intake plate on a commonrail head setup.
 
Never had a clearance issue, even used the grid heater. Maybe I just got lucky
 
i can't find the picture of a fb buddies but he used the cr connector tubes and lock down nuts. they stuck too far out and hit the throat of the entrance. he ended up cutting off the intake plenum and went to a bolt on.
 
I had the conversion tubes from Scheid on mine. I ended up cutting the intake off eventually as well
 
i had some of mikes tubes when i had an 06 head on mine. were shorter than the cr tubes i had also bought.
 
Correct, shorter than CR and longer than VP tubes. Suckers are expensive too. Now life is easier just buying the ppump to CR head lines instead of trying to hunt down a set of those tubes
 
I tried Mike first because I heard he made them, never could get anywhere with him so I went to Scheid. Mike makes some good products but it's hard to get them out of him lol
 
i called schied when i first was gathering parts. didn't have clue what i was asking about and never called me back. this was a couple years ago now. i know they have them on their website now.
 
It was 4-5 years ago I bought them. Only know that because of the 2012 inspection sticker on the truck lol
