gents,

looking to TUNE a 2015 68re truck with 50K on the clock.

my questions is what is the preferred platform...EFI, EZ lynk, bullydog ect.

second question is, TUNER...who ? wanting some low end power, and better shift strategy. doesn't need to delete unless like the regen trucks, it really is needed (not wanting to debate egr into intake BS, truck isn't mine).

basically, WHO and WHAT platform is the most user friendly and has the most functionality ( coeds, tpms, ect...)

being a 2nd gen guy, hvent been following the 4th gens since I sold my 6.7 in 2012.

Don't waste your time tuning it without deleting it. You will destroy your DPF and end up deleting it anyways.

I sell lots of HPP tuning and have been impressed with the tuning, and even more impressed with the tech support. Jonathan and his gang are second to none.

EZ LYNK is by far the easiest platform for the 13+ trucks.

EZ Lynk hands down easiest platform. Done a ton of trucks with PPEI and several with HPP, no major issues with either.

thanks for the info...seeing how Kory just sold a house 2 doors down from me...I might see what can do.

how are his Cummins /68re tunes ?

You live in S. Lake Charles or Moss Bluff?

I live off Big Lake.

Feels like a totally different transmission. 100,000 times better than the factory crappy early shifting thing they do. Wish I had it on the truck when I drove it off the lot.

My 08 was night and day with B&G tuning at the time...

So, the EZ Lync seems the way to go...so lets talk TUNER...

WHO ? i would like to hear some feedback from someone who has tried different TUNERS ? and what like and dislikes there was.

Man you can't go wrong with any of the big name tuners. I have Kory's tunes on my 15 it's only one I have tried. Had his tunes on the truck the day he released cummins tuning on ez lynk. Few bugs here and there but he had them worked out pretty damn quick. Getting something the day it's released I expected a few lil hiccups so it wasn't a surprise. Great support from him and his crew! I'm sure all the other big tuners are just as supportive as the PPEI crew. Call around and choose one you feel the most comfortable with. You won't be disappointed with any of them.

well, seeing how kory is local and so is the truck...that is probably were we are headed.

HPP 68rfe Trans Tuning Hands Down. No other Tuning can touch it. as for the engine side of things, both are great, can't go wrong either way
