Truckers, lets see your rigs!

Stainless just dowsnt have the tensile strength or elasticity to last in a heat cycle environment. But that one alloy does look interesting, if you even wait to call it stainless steel.

Went to our local fair last night & watched the O.S.T.P.A semi pulls, all Cats & KT's- not 1 Detroit or Volvo trash:Cheer:

Only because the sled can’t stop those euro motors. Especially if you get your Volvo tuned for the turbo buy a euro tuner. Hell Leiffi’s truck will run daylight to dark in 4hrs.

Yeah, I wouldn't be bragging about winning that. If that's what your trucks pull they have a long way to go before getting compared to American trucks. Average sled setting around here that I see is every weight in/on the sled, at least 80k lbs. Twice the chain length. And the box topped by 150-200' mark, with the pan dropped by 250' at absolute latest. I've even seen them add chains to the front of the sled to get drug underneath it for more resistance, at the local county fair brush pull. Just street trucks, not even any competition guys.
