That would be correct, so disappointing it being a long hood and then having that POS under the hood.

Looks good. I suggest moving the tanks forward and making it a tandem without making it longer. Make it more euro approved.
248” wheelbase is the plan.
Here’s how it will be proportioned when it’s done.
Like a disease
Leiffi RigWrench suggested these guys must be filling the washer fluid since Volvo’s don’t break. You suppose he’s right, or do you have to open the hood to vent the excess HP every once In a while?
Flat glass, flat hood, flat doors. The KW freaks probly get off on that thing
My place sits about 100 yards off the road. It’s funny how many people have asked me what year my “Kenworth” is. Even funnier is to watch their face when I tell em it’s a Freightliner. LOL
One of my drivers call last Thursday late afternoon, saying there's coolant blowing on his windshield...
?
Route him in Friday, put him in a spare then rip his truck down yesterday afternoon. While the rings and liners look good, the block wasn't properly addressed during the last overhaul looks like and, what im assuming is their ignorance, is rearing its ugly head.
#6 liner dropped, blowing the HG and started pressurizing the coolant system.
How did the liner drop? Was the surface not prepared properly and the liner protrusion wasn't correct?
The last pic on my post is of the deck surface at #6. You can see the erosion where the liner sets on the block, letting the liner sink.
I didn't get any rebuild paperwork on this truck but the parts look relatively newish, im confident the block needed cut during the last overhaul.
You think you’re truck gets confused as a KW a lot?! Try having an FLC!

No sir, liners are all the same. There are selectable shims that go in the groove cut to set protrusion.
