They leak as much as the rest of the seals? Lmao

Mine doesn't leak! It's amazing what following the book will do. Can't tell you how many cam caps i've seen leak because people don't put flange sealant on them.

Also if you think about it could be related to blowby, which is related to the rings.

Detroits always leak from the oil pan, crank case, or valve cover. All related to crankcase pressure.

I haven't ever had an issue with that area. Lots of little places to leak though. People tend to forget the flange sealant under #1 cap. Case stiffening bracket really helps too.

That's my dads truck. Other than one oil leak it's been rock solid and averaging over 9 mpg.

I get 9mpg when I pull an empty trailer too. I’ve been between 4.7-6.08 since July. Had a 3.68 sneak in there too, they should flatten the Appalachian mountains out a little or I could make 3 trips instead of one.

Trucking is like carrying groceries. Making more than one trip seems crazy.

Trip to Idaho we took 3 weeks ago and a couple randoms

Overall average for my truck going from MO to Idaho on that trip was 3.6mpg lol

Getting close.
Everything is built and fitted. Now I get to pull it back apart to paint the frame, fenders, tanks, and polish the rear light bar.
