I was not told this by your company at the time the order was placed that this may not fit and when I called to see what may be the problem I was told that we don't have one for that truck and I'm not sure how you even got that. [/B]

**ATS' Arcflow system is NOT compatible with Dodge's '94 thru '98 antilock brake system (Hydroboost Brake Applications), or California trucks equipped with an EGR system. ATS' Product Warranty does not apply should a customer use these two systems together, and ATS is not liable for any potential product failure. Please contact ATS' sales department with any further questions.**

Yep, I wanna know if they all are supposed to fit that close!

Chris

If this is the case than you know it will not fit a 97 truck but yet if you look at my invoice it has 97 in the year of the truck????? My truck is a 94 this could have been a typo when the order was placed by why on earth would you send it out if it won't fit a 97.

Eye yi yi, it will fit a 1997 truck with hydroboost (They ALL came with it), just not with Antilock brakes, the fluid res is too large on these applications, I was reffering to your truck being a 1994 with hydroboost, IT WILL NOT WORK.

And with the invoice being labeled as a 1997, that would probably be why you were not asked if you had hydroboost, the Salesman must have heard you wrong at the time of the order, and if he put it in as a 1997, there would be no reason for the Arc-flow not to fit with Hydroboost, it clears fine.

I didn't even talk to you!

And after looking at the invoice, you are correct, you were dealing with Bryan here in the sales office. I appologize for getting you mixed up, but without you posting your real name or information it's pretty easy to get things mixed up. But even then, I was still willing to work thing out with you.

And as far as your fitment issue's, that's legitimate, you don't have hydroboost so it should be fine, but it's no doubt making contact, and had you explained that to Bryan I'm sure he would have gone out of his way to make sure you were taken care of, even if it was purchased almost a year ago.

So if you wanna trade in your paper weight, then just give me a call :Cheer:

I live just north of Denver. I hear this story ALL the time.

Wade, dude, stop digging. You're only getting in deeper.

HIS 94 DOES NOT HAVE HYDROBOOST...why won't it fit?

All I can say is WOW, maybe after 5 years on the forums I've just outright forgot how to communicate with people, I'm done :bang.

Thanks Keith for the good advise

Sorry...I honestly missed that, but I wasn't the only one;)

I was lost with all the "mis-quotes" for most of the thread, so give me that screw-up.

I have no dog in this fight, but was just trying to point out that the hydroboost part of the argument did not apply here...sorry you took it the wrong way, it was not my intention!

Chris

I crossed this bridge over a 2 years ago when installing one and at that time they "ats" had never heard of it not clearing on any model.

Solution: Take a intake spacer (cummis oem part) and have it machined down and at a slight angle 1-4 degrees and find the right length bolts this worked for me, time consuming but it worked!

Ha Ha!!!! A keyboard tuff guy! Just had to make yourself feel special huh? It doesn't look to me that you have any relevant input on this thread so why not keep your negative coments to yourself?

Well having installed a few of these I can tell you first hand that not anyone of the casting are identical.

What I'm saying is that Ive had two 24v intakes side by side and they where NOT alike.

Just my observation.

Thats right! I hide behind my keyboard every time I go out:cheer:

I know Wade, he is a damn nice guy and I have NO beef with him. I am well aware of how forum arguments go so I was giving him some helpful advise.

KTHXBYE 1 poster dude.

If it doesn't fit, it's got Hydroboost. If he had Vacuum assist, it would work fine.

really?!??! :umno::bs:

noting like insulting a customer's intelligence while showing your own lack of knowledge about the trucks your company makes products for!

I don't think he'll bite Forrest...I already tried:D

Once again, ATS shows their complete lack of customer service skills!
