MONSTER vp44

i think the point he was trying to make is there are several 600hp plus single charger trucks out there that are running a SO or maybe even a HO pump. you did 605 with a monster pump. thats the point. when we start to see some 700 plus hp or fuel only on our trucks with monster pumps then maybe but till then, the tried and true HRVP sill holds the record for high VP horsepower. just my $.02

Already way past that and going for more. I'm impressed with Cliff's Super B Special pushing that 605 out. If he would have had more turbo or had more load put on the truck when it was dynoed, we would have surely seen and even bigger number. I just get a chuckle reading these threads and people doubting these pumps. My new huffers will be here in a couple days. :rockwoot:

I get a chuckle out of these threads where the guys making the big power just keep flaunting it and never showing anything. Kinda like a chat room stripper.

exactly...

seen 4 of them dyno now, one was 807hp but has lots of controversy surrounding it.

the other 3 were 490, 598, 605hp...

its def worth as much as a p-pump swap tho, it smokes a ton off idle it fuels so hard

1/8 mile times mean nothing to me. My brain doesn't compute them and I don't know what's good or bad. I like 1/4. And I'd like to see the dyno chart of that pump.

gus you know as well as i do that untill you get your truck on a true dyno, dynojet 248 that 807 is going to get called bs. just like in the other thread where i stated that winslett has the vp record you said i was incorrect because he to was not on a 248. same has to apply to you. if you got on a 248 and made over 750 on fuel i would be sold. but the fact of the matter is no one has proven the pump makes hp over a so pump or hrvp on a 248. everyone knows thats the diesel standard dyno. another thing i have yet to see is if electronics make any difference with these pumps. i have heard mixed stories about the pump not responding to boxes due to the pump already being maxed out and so on. just my $.02

well if you use the horsepower calculator on this forum, its a little lower than what you dynoed ......... 720 compared to 807, nearly 100hp off. i havent seen your truck run faster nor post a faster time than 11.5 so thats what i based the number off of. said your truck weights 6700 thats the number i used. not sure if thats with you in it or not.

With a half blown High Tech Turbo on top and a seriously screwed transfer case. I'll have some crow for you in about a week. :hehe:

well you know me gus, i will eat crow anyday of the week, i just like stiring the pot a little lol. i will give ya a call next week to see how ya did. have a good one bud.

I know man. Now that I've finally gotten a good top turbo, I hope, everything should work together much beter. We'll see what happens.

well good luck and if you dont here from me first part of next week feel free to give me a ring. see ya gus.

Whats the lastest and greatest on these things.

Farmboy get a chance fart with it?

Welded first gear clutches together last Thursday at the drag strip so that's gotta be fixed. My 6 speed truck is finished and is running a monster pump with a big single charger. If it holds up this weekend I'm gonna strap it to the dyno.

Just got mine put on last week and it fuels hard!

Hopefully you won't break the input shaft.

The funny part about that? It made more power on Werner/Maddogs 248 than on our dyno (224), LOL.
