Finding a good stack is really just taking the time and money to purchase different products and spend all day on a dyno. Without the dyno numbers to back up the claims a lot of the stacks you'll find out there are really just people blowing smoke. They think that they can feel it by the seat of their pants but have never put their truck on a dyno to find out for sure. My suggestion is not to waist the money doing this and instead invest it in a reliable power gaining method, Injectors. You can get new body injectors for about $425 each, this might be more money than a stack but you have the options for greater power gains and a smoother ride.
If you choose to go with a stack, our suggestion is to contact manufactures and see if they are willing to open up to you and reveal the kind of tuning used to create the power, you don’t want to over load your engine with too much timing and you will want to check as see if you have enough fuel pressure to handle those tunes that require huge fuel demands.
If you can truly find the Crazy Larry out there after its been removed from Bully Dogs Site, you could choose to run that. The one that was available for the PMT wasn’t the same as the older versions that you can find for the Triple Dog. There are different versions out there that can help, some that will allow you to turn up your rev limiter and turn off your torque management. These can be found if you just ask around, somebody will have them saved to their computer for safe keeping and be willing to email the file to you.
