So Cal Pull in the AV

Tomorrows the big event! Its supposed to be a warm one so dress accordingly. Sounds like we have a big group for the event, should be a great time! Hope to see everyone there... no excuses....

if anyone knows where to get a 10k trailer axle let me know.. just before pulling into Betty's place the axle bearing fried, blew the cap off..nut and whats left of the bearing is now welded to the axle.. trailer is sitting at Betty's house and I'm DRIVING the pull truck to an event for the second weekend in a row:bang:bang:bang

otherwise we're gonna chain whats left of hte axle up, load up the truck and tow it back 3 legged...

There are a lot of trailer places along the 14 freeway that might have something as well as Palmdale. But being a holiday weekend might be an issue.

Well, the pull came off really well, here's what I remember from the 3.0/twins class--- Tom did a really great job of launching his truck without overpowering the track, something the midwest/east coast guys don't have to deal with, Nick put about 20 feet on everyone else in his Dmax (328 ft) , Cole's first gen pulled a strong 4th (hanging 2000 pounds off the front really helps) and Mike (Bigrpower) pulled 277 with no weight on the front. Good job everybody, good job Craig for putting on a well run event that got everybody trophies and checks right away. Hopefully someone will chime in later with the full results.

i know kat got videos of everone.. HD video camera should be better then the last.

BBD with some 455' as well :rockwoot:

i had a blast! although sled pulling isnt my game i really enjoyed it. thanks craig for helping me figure it out. thanks tom, nick, and everybody else for a great event. huge crowd, good track, good times. i was very pleased with how the truck pulled considering i didnt hang weight.

I liked the sneeze out the turbo when you shut down , thought you popped a boot .

Great pull for it not being your thing .

See you out at Irwindale .

Nice to seeing you again Mike .

yeah for some reason it burps coolant as soon as i get out of it..prolly a headgasket... runs fine so no complaints here.although the fire guy did have a concerned look on his face when i shut it down.

nice seeing you too johnny... let me know when you want to go terrorize people at irwindale..maybe we can get tommy out there too..

For sure brother . always a blast out there .

Good times last night. For only 6 or so weeks of planning the event, it was great. The crowd was into it for sure. I will pull at the next one if I can find out if my CON O will hold out. I dont want to end up like that one Dodge that fried his clutch.

Truck ran good for experimental tunes Mike.
