Jeff i will give you a run down, the only thing people are really running for more power is :nos: water or water/meth isnt popular, but these trucks run low timing relitively, so they will do ok on water meth but no one has had huge results.

The HPFP mod is a cab off, and i have YET to be proven its worth a fuk, john cobb is a cool dude but he has no number to back it up nore does anyone from elite... yet, I hear alot about turbo's but i havent seen sh!t other than from tadd, and hes got a 76mm autmospheric charger in the works to go with there modded high pressure turbo, but thats all i have actually seen.

yeah my buddy just helped his friend put some studs in from tadd for the 6.4 i guess they pulled to motor instead of lifting the cab.... said you could also just shift the motor left to right to put the studs in if you wanted...

Another thing, spartan has all the tuning bundled into one, they have optimized power in a single tuner, anything stacked on with it will hurt performance as well as the engine possibly. The trans is tuned with it as well, which is why they make the power they do on a stock trans.


I dont know why you would pull the motor like that anyway, all the ford dealers do engine work cab off so... but yeah you can do them with it in the truck, but i would pull the heads and put in new gaskets for that kinda work. somtims you save time by taking stuff off. like the cab in the long run

Yeah just curious is all. I want to know and learn cant help it.

Its fast too, even without a real boosted launch, when th power comes on the back tires are spinning and you dont really know they are spinning till you se the marks on the road, your gunna need slicks and a rear end :evil:


Im out, gunna go to bed, i got the kid tomorrow night, so travis ill video you whoopin on some cars and sh!t in that car so we have some compareson on how fast it is, even if its slow, it feels nice!
 
right on well we will figure out weather or not we are going to that dyno, too bad there is no real racing except tonight.
 
havent heard anything else about the " september 9th " thing yet but ill keep ya'll posted when i hear more. Travis we need to get that thing to the track, i know Gregrob isnt too happy you beat him :evil
 
OK its on the 6th not the 9th so not this comming weekend but the weekend following on sunday. He still supposed to get more info, and they are trying to get some sled pulls in douglas at there new fair grounds too which would be cool, get a little longer pull a little closer to cheyenne.
