47RH, prefer "known good" or stock rebuild

My shop truck trans is likely smoked. Haven't pulled the pan yet but to the best of my experience it shouldn't take 3K rmps to make the truck move forward.: Since it's a relatively stockish work truck I think anything will suffice for now. Id be interested in something known good...

    WTB: Known good 47RE

(Using "good" in context of course) Need to swap a trans on a very lightly and not often driven truck, would like a stock or stock'ish trans on the cheap. I'm in Maryland, anything around SEPA/ Delaware is close to me. Phil 443-309-6030

I've developed a noise, only happens when taking off from stop going forward. It is a pronounced clunk. Sounds like it is coming from the transfer case. I had my son drive while I layed down next to the truck, can't seem to really pinpoint what or where it is coming from. It will NOT do it going...

    The New(est) guy.

Hello all, just stumbled upon this site and figured I'd sign up and see what as up. Doesn't look like I know very many folks here, I see a few names I recognize though. The smiley list is outrageous, if you can't find a little animated guy to express what you are saying over there, you might as...
