HO heads have pressed in valve seats, SOs do not.

I have read that ho heads have powdered metal valve seats. 02 SO has pressed in seats also, my friend just went thru that nightmare.

Weird, first I've heard of an SO having pressed in seats. It could be one of those "late model run" kind of deals where they throw together whatever parts are left over before they switched over to producing the common rail. A similar sort of thing happened at the end of the 12-valve era.
