one of my friends has been having a bad streak. In the last month he has had a new egr cooler, new turbo. After all of this the truck wont run like it used to. It has a lack of power until around 2500 rpm. ford tech said icp was reading normal, good fuel psi,boost, vanes were not stuck open, and no trouble codes. this used to be a fairly good running truck.only mods are s&b intake, straight pipe-2005 f-350 6sp

check the egr valve?

When my EGR valve was plugged I would get zero boost till 2000 rpm on occasion with lots of smoke (stock tuning at the time)
Just 20-30 minutes to pull it clean it and put it back in so its an easy place to start.
