I deal with third gens a lot. $6k for a rusty truck that needs an engine is steep, at least in MI.

Up here, that's a $3700 to $4500 truck. You may be best off to pull the trans, sell it and then part the rest out.

I was wrong on the trans build. It does not have billet shafts. Sorry....
