05 engine in 06 truck and vice versa

Alright guys, I recently bought an 05 with a fresh engine with lots of good parts inside and out and I'm thinking about swapping the engine into my 06 single cab and keeping the truck awhile. I know the valve covers and injector harness's are different and they will have to be swapped. Is there anything else that will have changed between the 2 trucks? Haven't decided forsure what I'm going to do yet but just gathering information for now. Thanks!

A long with the valve cover the rocker box but I'm sure you knew that, but that should be it.

 

[06 DIESEL]

I would just swap the long block and keep the 06 harness etc. I put a 09 6.7 in my 06 and just put in the long block, the rest is all 06, wiring, injectors, etc.
