I guess being able to see the torque converter through from the grille with most of the engine in place is bad?

Been there,done that.Old 7.3's cant always take the strain.With what $$ I dedicated to them could have had a 9 second Cummins.:bang
 
I dont have alot of money tied up in either of mine. I guess you could say that Im like the "diesel poser". LOL But I got the best of both worlds right now with the 12v and 7.3

88 is the most I have put to a 7.3 and it did not have stock rods like that one did.It was sold after seeing customers with broken blocks with less boost than that.Being I did not want a high dollar paper weight! Oh well looks like it went in the line of duty.:charger:

They were the new Hypermax rods, IIRC
