Ok guys I aquired another 12V block that's currently seized up with a very melted #4 piston.
My goal is a daily driver that's between 5-600hp...

I have been told that there is a few different blocks and that if I wanted to do a build that was high hp I needed a tractor block if above 500hp constant...

So what block number would be good?

I did notice it's a Brazil crank and rods.

Where do I locate the block casting numbers and what numbers are the good ones ? ... I see several numbers on the block

Do you not already have another thread on this same topic?

If I recall, the feedback from that thread was any stock block from a 89-02 truck will meet your power requirements. Nothing special is needed.

Block cast numbers are on driver and or passenger side, front of block, above oil pan.
