1448 HP / 2000 plus TORQUE

Fuel Only? Specs?

No the 1448 / 2000 plus numbers were not fuel only.

Fuel only with our old turbo setup and a single modded and overdriven Wicked pump we made 1014 HP at 85 lbs of boost.

We now have different turbos and twin CP3's . The modded Wicked pump and a modded TC pump plus a TC rail. We have not done a fuel only pull with this setup.

I would rather not share that information , we have been experimenting with different ones . They are both BIG .

Looking forward to meeting you at "Fall Brawl". This should be fun !!

We are also looking forward to it. My guys are getting the truck shined up and looking pretty as we speak. We hope to get on the road by 9:00 tonight.

In regards to a previous question about the need for dual pumps even when it appears the single is doing fine, would you now agree that the dual pumps are more robust?

I agree , I would not be where I am at now without the twin modified pumps.

But I was also impressed when we made over 1000 HP ( fuel only ) on the one modded pump.

Maybe this winter I will put those turbos back on and see what it will do with the twin pumps on fuel only.

Thanks for taking the time to do the calculations but my torque numbers won't be that high. My turbos are slow to spool then hit VERY hard , creating low torque numbers. On one of the dyno pulls we had 1318 HP and only 1929 Torque

What RPM was the peak HP made? That will be a little lower torque number than your peak in most setups but should give you a ballpark of how much torque it's making.

1448 HP at 4000 engine rpm is 1900 ft lbs. Horsepower and torque are directly related, torque is more/less the actual force output of the motor and is directly related to average cylinder pressure. Horsepower is a useful calculation to help determine how much work can be produced with the torque the motor is producing. It's just like a cordless drill, the torque input is the same when the drill is in 1st or 2nd gear but the torque output is different and/or manipulated by the gear ratio. However, if you took the measured torque output with the known RPM of the drill chuck, you could calculate the horsepower of the drill which would be equal in gear 1 or gear 2.

Essentially, horsepower allows for an equal comparison of two motors with different torque curves to determine which one can actually perform more total work.

My point is, if you provide a few data points such as peak horsepower was at 3400 rpm and it crossed over 1300 HP at say 3000 rpm, it is easy to correctly and accurately calculate the torque at those two points to give you an idea of how much peak torque the motor is making.

Great numbers but after this comment I couldnt help myself.
